Teaching procedure:
Step1:Lead-in:present some pictures about Peru and let the students enjoy them,meanwhile ,have the students voice their own opinion about Peru.
Step2:pre-listening:ask the students to predict what the listening text will talk about.
Step3:while-listening:play the recording and have the students finish the tasks:tick the things Lia likes doing/answer the questions/fill the blanks.
Step4:reading:read the text on page 43 and find the places mentioned in the text on the map.
Step5:enjoy some pictures and learn about the country talked about in the passage.
Step6:read the passage again and answer some questions about the passage.
Step7:fun time:try to read the passage in one breath.
Step8:homework:after class,try to listen to and read the passage again.
