选修7《Using LanguageⅠ》集体备课教案优质课下载
Lesson type
Reading and speaking
Teaching time
40 minutes
Analysis of the teaching materials
In order to provide a coherent context for reading and speaking, I focus on the reading material provided in B7U4 and design the mini-speaking and mini-writing activities by myself. The context provided is based on the world’s most useful gift catalogue in the book, while the speaking task is relevant to the reading list, which I think will arouse students’ interest. As a result, the activities, the reading task, the speaking task and even the writing task are all designed in a related and coherent way.
Analysis of the students
The students, of less intermediate English competence, are from Class8 Grade2. Since they have formed their reading habits, it can be sure that they know some basic rules of reading, speaking and listening. Therefore, this lesson will focus on comprehending the reading context and using the language to express themselves. Besides, the reading should be effective, so they need to be checked in some exercise, matching the gifts and other tasks.
