Teaching Aims:
After this period, the Ss will
1. get a good understanding of the text and improve their reading skills;
2. be able to talk about how to help others and voice their opinions;
3. develop care and love for those in need.
Important points:
The Ss will
1. comprehend the passage;
2. get to know the significance of the gifts in the catalogue.
Difficult point:
The Ss are able to think of an idea to help the orphans and present it to others.
Teaching Procedures:
Step1 Lead-in
When it comes to gifts, please think of the following questions:
Who do you usually give a gift to?
What gift do you usually choose?
The Ss gives their answers freely.

Step2 Pre-reading
Analyze the structure of the text and the key words for each part.
