? ? We?will focus on training students' speaking and writing. There are three parts: Speaking--students talk about plans and even introduce their plans to others; Practicing--output exercise to strengthen students' mastered knowledge about making a plan; Writing—grasp the phrases and expressions freely and try to master the basic structures of making a plan.
Students in our class are not good at English, and some even cannot remember some fundamental words and expressions. Students are not used to speaking English. After all, they are from A Li, in western of Tibet. English is their third language. However, the whole class’s interest of learning is much higher.
Therefore, while reading the words and expressions, students can make some mistakes in pronunciation. In the Speaking part, some familiar materials from their life are selected, so that they would be interested and would like to talk. When students write a short composition to introduce their plan, based on their group discussion, some tips are also given to help those who are poor in English. The writing takes not only the requirement of College Entrance Examination but also the English level of students into consideration, for which the composition should be finished with only five sentences. In that case, they will gradually form a fixed writing model.
