学生情况分析:
The students are in Senior Two. They have the specific motivation to learn English and active learning attitude. Besides, they are willing to co-operate with each other and finish their learning tasks together. However, they don’t have enough confidence to speak English and lack enough listening and speaking practice. So they need to learn some listening and speaking skills to improve their spoken English and build up their confidence. 3.教学目标分析According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, the teaching objectives are divided into three parts: Knowledge objectives, Ability objectives and Moral objectives.
Ⅰ. Knowledge objectives
1. To help the students get some basic knowledge about Peru.
2. To help the students learn some listening and speaking skills.
Ⅱ. Ability objectives
1. To help the students apply the listening and speaking strategies while performing the tasks.
2. To improve the students’ ability of listening and speaking based on the topic.
Ⅲ. Moral objectives
1. To develop students’ cross-cultural awareness and communication.
2. To build up students' confidence in learning English.4.教学重点、难点分析 教学重点:

1) Ask the Ss some questions about travelling abroad:
Suppose we are going to a summer camp abroad in July, which country would you like to
go? Why?
2) Play a video clip about the introduction of Peru.
3) Show a map of Peru and teach students some new words they’ll come across in listening.
【设计意图】以“暑假去哪儿”这个话题为切入点,并通过视频和图片引出本节课主题。激发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生积极参与课堂活动,同时也为接下来的听说训练作铺垫。
Step 2: Listening
1) Set a situation: We are going to a summer camp in Peru, the local tourist guide has sent an audio file about the introduction of Peru to us, now we should listen to it and try to get some general information about Peru.
