《Using LanguageⅡ》公开课教案优质课下载

Students can write a composition by using the reviewed words and expressions and sentences in this unit.

Teaching Procedures:

Step 1. Warming Up

Ask students to have a free talk about their impression of San Francisco according to the given pictures;

Conclude the tips of writing a travel journal--using adjectives;

Step2. Reading

Task 1: Read the three pieces of diaries and figure out the feature: omissioin of the subjects.

Task 2: Read the first piece of diary and find out the tips of writing a travel journal.

Tip 1. Verbs, means of transportation and the history of the tourist spot can be described in a travel journal. -- contents of the travel journal

Tip 2. a travel journal can be divided into three parts: general description, specific description and comments. -- structure of the travel journal

Task 3: Ask students to share some sentences they really appreciate:

1. From top of the hill I got a spectacular view of San Francisco Bay and the city.

2. This is the district where Italian fisherman first came to San Francisco in the late 19th century.

3. I did so much exploring at Fisherman's Wharf.

4. Teamed up with a couple from my hotel, I hired a car.

Task 4:Appreciate the sentence structure and do the imitating writing.

在山上,我看到了壮丽的大海和迷人的海鸥。

From top of the hill, I got a spectacular view of the sea and fascinating seagulls.

松兰山是一个旅游度假休闲中心 (a leisure resort)。

Songlan Hill is a leisure resort where people could take a holiday and spend a splendid time.

We did a lot of thrilling exploring on the top of Songlan Hill.
