Step 1. Warm up and lead in

Game = 1 \* ROMAN I : What animals can you see?

Show the pictures of animals by PPT quickly, then ask the students what animals they can see in the pictures. (Help students to review the words of animals)

Game = 2 \* ROMAN II : Listen to the sounds and guess what animal they are.

Cat, dog, lion, elephant

Step 2. Revision

Show the pictures of the elephant , then help students to review the website article in 2b.

Help students to retell the passage by some key words

Importance of Thailand：

Abilities of the elephants：

Facts and figures：

How to save them：

Play the video to show that elephants are in great danger and we should protect them.

Show more videos to warn students that there are many animals in danger , make students understand a saying : when the buying stops, the killing can too.

Step 3.Writing practice

Show a picture of a giraffe, talk about the giraffe with students.

Give students some description words about the giraffe, ask the students to look at the picture and make sentences with the words given to describe the giraffe.
