作定语用的过去分词相当于形容词,其逻辑主语就是它所修饰的名词。及物动词的过去分词作定语,既表 又表 。不及物动词的过去分词作定语,只表 。
1. 过去分词作定语的位置
① a closed door the risen sun
﹡单个的过去分词作定语时,位于它所修饰的名词或代词_____.
eg. I threw a ________ vase. = (定语从句)
We often clean _______ (fall)leaves.=
→注意:过去分词作定语可转化为定语从句
﹡及物动词的过去分词做定语表示“被动”的意义,可改成带被动语态的定语从句。
﹡不及物动词的过去分词做定语表示“完成”的意义,可改为带完成时态的定语从句。
