2教学难点:让学生学会从文章中提炼有用信息自己对人物加以评价。 四、教学策略选择与设计思路课标对本节课重点要求是注重提高学生用英语获取信息,处理信息,分析问题和解决问题的能力。主要通过要求学生阅读一篇介绍发明家Alexander Graham Bell的文章并设置完成任务,了解电话发明者贝尔的发明及其成功的原因。学生通过教师的引导,对贝尔的生平及其发明电话的过程以及他身上表现出来的精神进行学习和人生观的教育。在教学的过程中,设法使学生体会对人物的评价用语以及一些有用的词汇和句子,通过读,悟,学,仿的方法使之成为学生自己能够运用的口头输出材料,并且在教学过程中学生能够通过合作学习,讨论研究,搜集信息,完成任务的方法进行课堂活动,在听说读的活动中提高综合运用语言的能力,为下节课的写作打下基础。五、教学环境及资源准备(1)教师设计制作的课件和学案。

(2)教室电脑和投影设备。六、教学过程教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图及资源准备Step1 Lead-in(1m)Greet the class and tell them that we will learn a person. Then write down the name of the reading passage. Listen to the teacher and know the teaching aim of the lesson.Get the students know the teaching aims and get ready for the reading about Alexander Graham Bell.Step2 Word study(3m)Read the new words all together. Then review them with all the class. Read loudly and recite the new words. Check them by matching exercise.help remove word obstacles in the reading process.Step3 Pre-reading (3m)Ask Ss to predict what the passage is about Bell before reading. Write down their answers on the blackboard.Ss give their prediction about Bell in the text.Hope that the Ss are interested in Bell and his life story.Step4 First reading(5m)Ask Ss to read the text quickly and check their prediction right or wrong.Ss quickly go through the passage to find out the answer.To be sure about what the passage is mainly aboutStep5 Second Reading for details(17m)Ask Ss to listen, read and go over the paragraph one by one. Ask some questions to make the students read, think and speak. Write their answers on the blackboard. Choose some key sentences to explain in class.

Listen and go over the paragraphs again by thinking over and answering the questions. Try to understand the text. To review the information of Bell. Read to learn. Step6 Third reading (key sentences)(3m)Ask the Ss fill in the blanks on the worksheet. Check the answers and read the sentences all together.
