过去分词可以在句中作定语,宾补,表语,状语。

Step2 discuss in groups and learn the changes between the past participle and the past participle phrases

the functions of the past participle as adverbial : 过去分词(短语)作状语表示时间、原因、条件、让步、伴随等;相当于一个状语从句。过去分词(短语)作状语,有时可根据需要加上适当的连词(when, while, until, once, if until, though等),构成“连词+过去分词”结构作状语。
