1. Knowledge and ability aims(知识与能力目标)：
(1) 发现、理解、掌握过去分词作状语；

III. Analysis of the students(学情分析):
学生在上一单元刚刚学习了过去分词作定语、表语、宾补的功能，对过去分词的用法有了一定的认识和掌握，存在的问题是过去分词和现在分词在运用上的区别。课前已经布置了学生看电影“My fair lady”并把课文对话中有关过去分词作状语的句子进行学习和分析。

Listen to a song sung by Audrey Hepburn and watch a short movie clip about her. Review the play “My Fair Lady”and summarize the main plot by filling in the blanks, using the proper forms of the words：
My Fair Lady is a musical ____ (base) on George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion. It is about Elisa, a poor girl selling flowers in the street. ____(raise) in a poor neighborhood, she spoke improper English. One day she met Professor Higgins who said that if ___(educate), she could pass herself off as an upper-class lady.
