1. Knowledge and ability aims(知识与能力目标):
(1) 发现、理解、掌握过去分词作状语;

III. Analysis of the students(学情分析):
学生在上一单元刚刚学习了过去分词作定语、表语、宾补的功能,对过去分词的用法有了一定的认识和掌握,存在的问题是过去分词和现在分词在运用上的区别。课前已经布置了学生看电影“My fair lady”并把课文对话中有关过去分词作状语的句子进行学习和分析。

Listen to a song sung by Audrey Hepburn and watch a short movie clip about her. Review the play “My Fair Lady”and summarize the main plot by filling in the blanks, using the proper forms of the words:
My Fair Lady is a musical ____ (base) on George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion. It is about Elisa, a poor girl selling flowers in the street. ____(raise) in a poor neighborhood, she spoke improper English. One day she met Professor Higgins who said that if ___(educate), she could pass herself off as an upper-class lady.
