3、了解并尊重异国文化。学习策略目标：注重认知、调控和交际策略的运用。教材分析本单元以皮格马利翁为话题，通过学习，使学生了解具有共同主题的希腊神话Pygmalion与萧伯纳戏剧之间在表现形式、人物塑造等方面的相同与不同之处；并能在此基础上，讨论人物特征和表演部分戏剧场景；能模仿剧本编写一个戏剧场景，并加以表演展示。学情

分析 学生英语程度较好，教学设计可略高于学生的现有水平，为学生的进一步提升提供机

会。但是环节的设置应由浅入深，从学生熟悉的内容入手，抓住学生心理，激发学习兴趣，

让他们在活动参与中学习、产出目标语言。教学目标1. To have the students learn the literary genre, drama.

Pre-class play the song “Wouldn’t it be loverly?” from the musical “My fair lady” as the background music.

Ⅱ Revision

Get the students to discuss the characteristics of three main characters, using 5 to 6 adjectives. Ask some individuals to share their words.

【To recall the play and also a way of checking the students’ memory of the key words in this unit .】

Ⅲ Dubbing

Get one or two groups of the students to show their dubbing.

【To offer the students a chance to show themselves to set an example for the others. Also a good way to check their previous assignment.】

Ⅳ Learning of the structure of a script

Ask the students to go through the script on page 34 & 35 and find out what features in structure makes it differ from a narrative story.
