Step 1 Pre-reading
T: Do you know where it is? (These are pictures of the Zhoukoudian Caves.) What can you see there? (a museum, sculptures, caves…)
Watch a video and learn something about archaeologists.
Step 2 Fast Reading
Title and main idea: Who? Where? What? Why?
What would you expect to learn there if you were a visitor?
Divide the passage into 3 parts and find out the 3 topics that the archaeologist talked about.
