选修8《Learning about Language》教案优质课下载

学情分析:

授课对象是高三普通班的学生,英语水平参差不齐,有的同学学了十年英语,到现在还分不清主谓宾等句子成分。这势必会影响到学生做题,比如阅读中的长难句理解,完形填空、语法填空和短文改错中涉及到连词和非谓语的题目,学生如果不能正确地分析句子结构,想要完全做对是不可能的。此外,在书面表达中,教师经常会发现学生写出有结构错误的句子,如缺谓语、非谓语误用、连词使用不当等。以上情况都反映出学生在这一方面的薄弱及不足。

教学目标:

经过本节课的学习,学生能够:

①正确辨别出简单句的五种基本句子结构;

②懂得如何去分析长难句并在此基础上合理理解句意;

③意识到正确分析句子结构的重要性并在平时做题过程中加以练习。

教学过程

(一)导入

Let’s look at the screen. When you see the background of the PPT, the Chinese character “福”and the rooster, what will you think of?

(The Spring Festival)

Next, I will show you a video, which is about the origin of the Spring Festival and the activities people usually take. Please pay attention to the sentences you will hear in the video.

Do your feelings about the Spring Festival come like flood? Everyday, we ate snacks, played computer and watched TV. During my winter holiday, I was deeply absorbed in this TV programme“极限挑战”, so today, I prepare some challenges for you. Let’s begin with a small challenge.

设计意图:这一部分采用的是话题导入。虽说简单句的语法与春节没什么关系,但我们都知道语法课一向都不为学生们所喜爱,总觉得很闷很无趣,所以教师把鸡年和综艺节目两个元素放到导入版块,一方面希望提起同学们的兴趣,另一方面为本节课的家庭作业(写作)做铺垫,给学生搭建话题支架和语言支架。

(二)简单句的五种基本句型

1、 Challenge 1: Write out sentence patterns (句子成分缩写:S,V, P, O, IO, DO, OC)

⑴ Chinese New Year is the most important traditional Chinese holiday.

⑵ In winter, the monster would come down from the mountains to hunt people.

⑶ People organized themselves to deal with the monster.

⑷ On the first day of Chinese New Year, people usually visit their relatives.

⑸ On the second day of New Year, the married couple will bring the wife’s parents some gifts.

Divide the students into groups. Two volunteers write on the blackboard, and the rest write on your papers. Let’s check three minutes later.

设计意图:用于分析的五个句子均来自导入部分的视频中,延续话题性,一方面使学生继续持有兴趣及积极性,愿意看愿意说;另一方面让学生学习与该话题有关的语言表达,为后面的输出做积累。

Challenge 2:
