教学目标The main task:

Students are capable of recognizing and analyze inner characteristics of honest ads and dishonest ads within the structure of the passage.

Learning Strategies:

Cognitive strategy is greatly used in this section within the task-based learning. Besides, students are motivated to communicate with others through learning process.

Affection:

Students are able to form the positive and rational attitude toward their future occupation and set vivid goals for themselves. 教学重难点Grasp and analyze the reading passage and relative learning materials.

二、教学步骤与过程

教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1 Warming up

Show the video clip to the students and provide the following question:

How do you think of the video as an ad, why?

After enjoying the video, students are willing to share their own opinions with others from the aspects such as: contents, meanings, attractiveness,style, etc.

Teacher also lead them to think about the characteristics that an successful ad must have.

Students are asked to read the para.1 and think about the narrative or aspects of this article.

Students are able to recognize the narrative aspects and some of them also put up forward some other idea.

Meanwhile, some students are able to find out the topic sentence of each paragraph. They focus on the questions on the paper.

Some of them ask the questions clearly and quickly.

Then, teacher ask them to think about the following questions:

Students are asked to share their opinions about what they have got from the video clip.

Some students are capable of dealing with problem that arise the interest of students.To arise the interest of students to get involved in the class and show the strong passion of being a pilot. Step 2

Reading comprehension and textual analysis

“Subjects analysis” of Paragraph 1.

In this task, teacher leads the students to focus on the various subjects of P1 and underline them. After this step, teacher asks the students to give their opinions. Besides try to let them think about the .

Read through the p2-5 and finish the tasks on the paper.

In this section, students are willing to underline the “link words” in these paragraphs and analyze the textual structure according to teacher.
