Step1: lead-in and display the aims of the lesson
明确目标和要求。Have a clear understanding about the writing task and demands.
The task: Writing a text within the requested time(18 minutes) under the teacher’s instructions. The writing content as follows:
假定你是高中国际部毕业班的学生李平，打算毕业后去英国求学，想在本校网站布告栏发布一个英语帖子，找一个母语为英语的留学生做语言交流伙伴，内容包括：
1、找伙伴的原因；2、自己有教汉语的经验；3、盼望提高英语口语能力。
注意：1、词数120左右；2、可以适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。
Step2: Pre-writing and instructing
Tell the students the writing content and demands.
Let the students know what discourse means and learn the discourse structure well.
Displaying the proper sample of the text and analyzing the discourse structure.
Let the students judge which part of the letter the following paragraphs belong to.
Teach the students to learn well the procedure of discourse-writing.
The teacher’s guidance before writing as follow.
Let the students review the definition of a text or discourse. The typical features of a text or discourse are cohesion（衔接） and coherence（连贯性）.
The definition of discourse/text: A text/discourse means a whole linguistic unit consisting of a series of continuous sentences or paragraphs which contain a general topic.
