The analysis of the students:
In the aspect of acquiring knowledge, the English foundation is not very good for our students. The reading skills and reading ability should be improved.
In terms of the emotional attitudes and values, the students are very outgoing and are willing to take part in the class activities. What’s more, they like express themselves. However, because of the poor foundation, sometimes they lack self-confidence.
Teaching Goal:
1、The goal of knowledge and competence:
= 1 ﹨ GB3 ① Master the words, phrases and sentence structures of the text.
= 2 ﹨ GB3 ② Use the students’ own words to give a general idea.
= 3 ﹨ GB3 ③ Finish the tasks correctly.
2、The goal of procedures and methods:
According to the prediction, the students can refer to the relevant materials to have a better understanding of the text.
3、The goal of emotional attitudes and values:
Help the students actively cooperate with others, study happily, develop the habit of sharing knowledge with others and participate in various English activities.

Significant points:
= 1 ﹨ GB3 ① Master the new words and phrases in the reading comprehension and translate the text into Chinese.
= 2 ﹨ GB3 ② Summarize the general idea and find out the topic sentences.
= 3 ﹨ GB3 ③ Finish the exercise of the text.

= 2 ﹨ GB3 ② Judge and analyze the question patterns.
Teaching strategies and instructions:
?During the teaching process, I should combine the teaching theory and the English task-based teaching method to set up my own English teaching class. This is a reading class. The main points are to master the reading skills and the method of doing reading tasks.
Step 1: According to the teaching contents, make the leading-in arouse students’ interest to learn English.
Step 2:Make the learning tasks in periods. Focus the students’ attention on learning English. According to the characteristic of English teaching, we divide the whole class into several periods to finish our tasks.
Step 3: Steps. Each period includes several actual teaching steps to carry out the tasks of each period, which leads to finish the final teaching tasks.
