一、教学内容分析
本单元是选修九的第一单元，本单元以世界纪录为中心话题，主要内容涉及阿里西塔福尔曼为代表的几个世界吉尼斯纪录的保持者及运动经历，讨论了创造吉尼斯纪录所必备的身体素质心理素质以及挑战自我的决心和毅力。本课时内容主要是学生在学完第一课时的阅读后，突出了词汇和语法的学习与训练。其中本单元复习的语法项目是主语的类型。
二、教学目标

Get students to learn the useful expressions in this part.
Strengthen students’ ability of language output by practicing.
Let students master the grammar point: the subject and what is subject?
