A: Attitude and opinion
Listen to the following dialogue, and then make up a question and three choices about one speaker’s attitude or opinion.
W: Gordon, I’m going to Keswick in the Lake District this weekend.?
M: Really?
W: Yeah, five of us. Why don’t you join us? We’re getting to Keswick on Friday. Then we’re going boating on Saturday. And on Sunday, we’re going to do some shopping. Then I will take some time to visit my aunt Lucy.?
M: You’re not going to camp, are you? Isn’t it a bit cold?
W: No, we’re not. It is a bit cold. We’re staying in a country inn. It’s not like five-star hotels or anything. But it’s really comfortable.
M: Hmm, sounds interesting. You know, it’s the boating that I don’t like.

Good morning, ladies and gentleman! As we know, a job interview is most important. This is when the employer gets to meet you and learn more about you. Employers are interested in your skills and experience, and your personality, of course. Do you stand straight and smile confidently? Managers want to hire employees who have confidence in themselves and in the job they are doing. Do you like to work hard and do a good job? People who are enthusiastic about a job make great employees. They are happy with the work and usually stay with the company for a while. Are you friendly and easy to talk to? Do you pay attention to how other people are feeling? A warm-hearted and easy-going person will make a good co-worker and can work well with others. Can you show that you have all of these in an interview? If the answer is yes, you’ll have a good chance of getting the job.
