III. The analysis of the students:
The 50 students of class 7 are on an average level, including 10 art students with lower grades in all subjects. Their ability for reading comprehension needs to be improved, especially the ability for analysis, judge and summary. They have learned some basic background information about cloning. So in this class, they are expected to learn an argumentation about whether people can bring dinosaurs back to life by cloning. In the meantime, they have to accomplish the reading comprehension, make clear about the structure by using mind-map and learn how to write an argumentation.
IV. Teaching aims:
1. Target language
1) To apply the topic expressions.
2) To cultivate students ability to decode the structure of the passage
3) To learn how to write an argumentation.
2. Study abilities:
1) To apply the organizing method of passage and paragraphs by using mind-map
2) To develop students ability to get information, to judge and analyze and to predict from the title and the pictures
3) To develop the ability to summarize the main idea of each part through the key information.

2) To convince whether an extinct animal is suitable to bring back to life or not.
