?Located in the north of North America,Canadais the second largest country in the world. In the south of Canada there are the Great Lakes, through?which?flows the St Lawrence River, the largest river of the country. Between two of the lakes lies the Niagara Falls, one of the wonders of the world. The central part is the most densely populated area, while the people in the east live on fishing and forestry. In addition, the soil of Canadais so fertile that the wheat and the timber are exported in large quantities to other countries,?which?provides jobs for thousands of people.

As is known to all, London is the capital of Britain, which is on the bank of River Times. It’s a very big city with a population of about 7 million. It is also a busy place. People here are usually friendly and helpful, but they are often in a hurry. What impresses visitors most is that the weather is always changing. That’s why the English people always talk about the weather. London has many beautiful parks and gardens and other famous places of interest. Hyde Park is among them. It covers 140 hectares, extending westward from Park Lane to Kensington Gardens. There are roads through the park, but people can walk freely over the beautifully landscaped grounds.

The centre of the continent, which is mainly desert and dry grassland, has few settlements.
? ?Australia is famous for its huge, open spaces, bright sunshine, enormous number of sheep?and cattle and its unusual wildlife, which include kangaroos and koalas. Australia is a popular?destination with tourists from all over the world who come to experience its unique ecology.
Australia is made up of six states. Like the states in America, Australian states are autonomous in some areas of government. However, Australia has a?federal?government responsible for matters that affect people all over the country, such as defence, foreign policy and taxation. The federal parliament is located in Canberra.
