本节课的教学对象是高一年级文科班层次比较好的班级，这个班的英语水平普遍比较好，听说读写的能力水平较高，表达能力较好。但是这是高三的一篇阅读，对于高一的学生还是太难了。所以课前预习准备就相当重要。，这篇课文是上一篇故事的延续，所以情节上很好理解，但文章深层所体现的精神，需要在教学设计方面加强对学生的引导，在教学过程中帮助帮助学生快速获取信息，由易到难。
