Teaching procedures：
Step 1： Lead-in
Listen to the song named Tears in heaven and dig out the background story to understand the father-to-child love.
Recall the essay The back shadow to further understand the love to introduce King Lear.
Step 2: Reading and understanding
Read the play within three minutes and complete the form on the screen to understand the play.
Watch a short video clip and furtherly understand the different three daughters.
Step 3: Word competition
Play a game. Divide the whole class into two groups. Group Star tries to collect as many words as you can to describe “Goneril and Reagon”, Group Sun, “Cordelia”. Three minutes for you to list out your words on the blackboard. One word, one score. The final winner will be awarded a special gift.
Step 4: Show time
As a child, saying “I love you” to a mother is much easier than to a father. As a father, how I wish I could hear a voice from my baby, “Daddy, I love you”. And Father’s Day is coming, so it is a great time for us to speak out our love.
Prepare it for one minute, and then come to the stage to express your love. I’d like to video it.
