Step 3. While-reading
1. Skimming
Students skim the whole passage and tell the structure of the passage(how many parts) and the main idea of each part.

2. Careful reading
Students have a summary of the ideas about the techniques of good readers and tell why the people have the ideas.

3. Discussion
1) Do you agree with each idea? If so, please give your reasons. If not, please tell your reasons.
2) Can you give other ideas or advice? Why do you have this idea?

Step 4. Post-reading
Students think about what they should read, why they should read it and how they should read it.

Complete a composition:
