Step 1 Lead-in

1.Greetings

2.Show students two pictures, which illustrates the difference between learning efficiently and inefficiently. The pictures can rouse students’ attention, because they really reflect some students learning situation. Nobody don’t want to be a successful learner. So students read the text actively.

Step 2 Pre-reading

In pre-reading, ask the students to read the title and have a quick glance at the pictures in the reading passage to predict the main idea.

Maybe, it's mainly about ways or techniques to become a successful reader

Step 3 Reading

Fast reading

1). Write the headings and sub-headings for the three passages
