Teaching steps:
Step I Lead-in
Share a short video with students and lead to the definition of subjunctive mood.
Step I Discovery and presentation
Show students three groups of sentences and ask them to discovery the grammatical rules of subjunctive mood.Then ask students to practice the rules by what they have summarized.
Step II Practice and Production
Show six stars to students and each star stands for one challenge which contains different kinds of exercise.Ask them to choose their favourite star and do the relative exercise by individual work, pair work, group work, class work.

Step III Summary

Step IV Homework
Ask students to write a short passage“if…”and try to use the subjunctive mood as much as possible.
