2)练习运用现在进行时态的一般疑问句来询问正在做的事情。
3) 通过听、说的练习,提高学生们的综合运用能力。

能熟练运用现在进行时的句子进行日常交际,描述他人正在做的事情。
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming- up
1. Greet the whole class and free talk.
2. Enjoy a video--- What are you doing?
Ⅱ. Lead in
1. Pair work
Look at the pictures and make your own dialogue.
What's he/ she doing? He/ She is.......
2. Teach some new words and expressions.
Show a picture on PPT
T: What's he doing?
S: He is playing basketball.
T: Where is he playing basketball?
S: He is playing basketball at school.
Teach the other key words and expressions in the same way:
pool in the pool; supermarket at/ in a supermarket
library in the library
Ⅲ. Presentation
1. Open their books and finish the task in 1a.
2. Ss work in groups. Discuss the pictures about the places and the activities they are doing.
3.Check the answers with complete sentences.
e.g. The man is swimming in a pool.
