通过小组活动，引导学生在写作之前学会“头脑风暴”，通过各种可行的方式获得写作素材。
分析范文，总结提建议类型书信的结构和掌握过渡词的使用。
情感目标：
通过写作思维训练，阅读范文，分析范文结构，学生能够通过在课堂中通过写作和评估获得写作的信心，从而增加学习积极性。
教学重难点：
引导学生学会发散性思维，掌握提建议类型书信的结构和写作技巧。
教学过程：(40 mins)
Step 1 热身 Warming up（8 mins）
The teacher introduces the content of the lesson: How to write a letter of advice, and plays a video to lead in the writing topic: write an advice letter to Petter to suggest him how to learn Chinese.
Then the asks the Ss to discuss the advice in pairs and let them express their opinions to the class. The whole classmate summarize the advice they gave, and the teacher writes it on the blackboard.
Step 2 写前活动 Pre-writing(15 mins)
T: Just now we have made some advice for Petter, and now we should write a letter to him, however, do you know the structure of the letter and how to write a letter? There is a sample for you and you can imitate it when you write a letter.
Sample
Dear Peter,
I’m glad to receive your letter asking for my advice on how to learn Chinese well.
Here are a few suggestions. First, it is important to take a Chinese course, as you’ll be able to learn from the teacher and practice with your fellow students. Then, it also helps to watch TV programs and read books, newspapers and magazines in Chinese whenever possible. Besides, it should be a good idea to learn and sing Chinese songs, because by doing so you’ll learn and remember Chinese words more easily. You can also make more Chinese friends. They will tell you a lot about China and help you learn Chinese.
I hope you can try and write me in Chinese next time.
