Analyses of teaching material
This period of lesson is based on our examination outline with the aim of helping students solve the problem about how to write an inquiry letter smoothly and perfectly. Generally speaking, how to write inquiry questions seems difficult for students. What’s more, the inquiry letters appear frequently among students’ real life and the tests.
Analyses of my students
My students have great difficulty in making inquiry questions, the reason of which is that they have little atmosphere where they need to speaking English for communication. Also, they have ignored to write such sentences even some simple question . They fail to understand what is inquiry question and even the rules to make a question sentence.
On the other aspect, my students have written so many compositions that they can absorb some ways of making sentences by reading some reference compositions.
