学情分析：

本班学生为城市薄弱学校高一年级新生，英语语言基础相对薄弱。除了三位同学英语成绩比较高以外，大部分学生的英语成绩处于中等偏下的水平。但是这些学生对英语学习的热情还是比较高，对英语学习有信心，但是总体来看英语基础薄弱，词汇量很小。通过本篇文章的学习，要使得学生能够用英语获取一些信息处理一些信息，简单地表达自己的观点，但是学生词汇掌握方面有欠缺，在句子的准确性上也有所欠缺。

教学目标：

经过本课的学习，学生能够：

提取语篇大意，梳理文章结构，归纳出文章的主要的内容，获取主要的事实性信息。

通过阅读之后，通过自主学习和小组合作学习进一步梳理出文章所包含的信息，然后从段落的角度进行分析和解读，之后提取出段落中更为具体的信息。

学生提取中段落主要信息，查找出介绍这些信息时所使用的动词，然后学生能用这些动词和具体信息用句子再次介绍文中主要信息，提高语言能力。

教学过程

Step1 Lead in

T shows pictures of parks and ask whether they like parks and what they often do in the park.

设计意图：利用图片，创设情境，引出主题。激发学生背景知识，引起学生思考。

Step2 Before reading

Introduce fun parks to the students and students discuss whether they enjou the rides in the fun park and why.

Q: 1.What kinds of things can you do in a moon park?

Look at the pictures below. Do you know what this ride is called?

设计意图：形成阅读期待。

Step3 Reading

Students read the passage and find the answers of the five questions in the passage.

Students discuss the answers to the questions in their group to check whether they have got the right answers.

The teacher check the answers with the students to see whether they have got the right answers.

Moon Park is five kilometres north of Oldtown Railway Station.

2 What three kinds of things can you do at Moon Park?

You can go on rides, watch entertainment and eat at Moon Park.
