二、Teaching procedures (教学过程)：
1. Greetings.
2. Lead-in.
Show students two pictures about the university graduation season and thousands of graduates who is finding jobs. Then I will lead to the topic of this class—how to write a successful application letter.
3. Give students some useful tips on how to make the application letter impressive.
Show students three pictures of Fan Bingbing, and ask students which one looks more charming and attractive.(One of the picture is her original look, another is a self-destructing picture; in the last picture she dressed up to attend a grand ceremony)
Obviously, the third one is more charming. So we can come to the conclusion：a good look ,perfect making-up and proper clothes make a person beautiful. So it is with our composition. What makes a good composition?
A good look: a beautiful handwriting
Make-up: structures
Clothes: advanced words and expressions, varied sentence patterns, proper linking words.
1) Beautiful handwriting
Show students some compositions written by students themselves. Let students choose the most attractive one. Let students realize that the handwriting really matters.
2) Good organization of the passage.
