1. Ss will be able to predict and guess the main idea of the text (reading and listening) from the title and the material.

Up till now, Ss have learned Senior English for almost a half year. Ss have got used to the Senior English learning, and have the idea of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
As for reading skills, Ss are able to read some not-so-complicated passages by using the basic reading skills like predicting, skimming, scanning, and so on. However, Ss are not skilled at these skills and may be not good at paraphrasing and summarizing.
As for speaking skills, Ss are able to express their own ideas by using some simple sentences, and make simple dialogues.
As for writing skills, Ss are able to write some sentences and simple paragraphs. But they are not good at writing passages according to a controlled topic.
