教学背景分析
(1)课文内容分析
课文 An email from Lucy 选自人教版英语选修语言知识与技能,文本词数为228个单词,浅显易懂,适合作为一堂读写课的辅助素材。但是文章结构清晰,里面的表达相对地道,可以让学生学习模仿。
学生情况分析
教师属于借班上课,跟学生们也是第一次接触。但是学生相对于同届学生而言属于优秀,大部分学生在词汇量、阅读量上有相当的积累。因此在教学设计中,更侧重于阅读策略的渗透处理文本信息,继而开展深层次的思维能力、书面表达能力的训练。

教学目标
通过本节课,学生能
了解邮件写作的基本格式,并且能够区分正式邮件与非正式邮件。
熟悉课文结构,文中出现的黑体加粗的单词以及老师归纳出来的词组表达。
灵活运用课文中总结出的句型,进行仿写、造句、改写。
在课后进行有效输出,实现文本迁移,描述北京大学。

2)引导学生关注北京相关景点,为下文的学习任务做准备。Step2Learning about the email formatSs are asked to find out the subject of Lucy’email and then take a guess of the relationship betweent the writer and the receiver.
Ss are asked to find out the details which can prove they are friends. And summarize the four details(salutation; first sentence; last sentence; signature). Finally draw the conclusion that it is a informal email to friends.
Ss are asked to apply the four detals to analyse another email, and try to find out the relationship between the writer and the receiver.
Ss are asked to summarize the matters that need attention in a formal email.帮助学生了解邮件写作的基本结构,主题栏、收件人、寄件人、主题句、问候语。
通过查找邮件细节分析寄件人与收件人之间的关系,从而得出这是一封正式还是非正式的邮件。
此外,通过老师提示,填空推理的形式,学生总结出正式邮件写作中应该注意的四个事项。Step3Learning about the content
Ss are asked to find out the main idea of paras2-5 in Lucy’s email.通过分析文章主题部分第二段到第五段的主旨,进一步了解文本内容,为下一部分的输出做准备。Step4Learning about the languageStudents read para2 together and then pay attention to the first sentence which introduce hutongs’ history and location. Next they try to rewrite the sentence and then introduce the history and location of Peking university. There is a Chinese sentence used as related information.
