1.设计思路

人教版必修三第五单元的话题是加拿大。通过本单元的学习，学生初步了解了加拿大的一些基本情况，包括地理环境、各大城市的特点以及人文活动等，但学生对于加拿大的认知并没有形成结构化知识，为了巩固本单元有关加拿大的内容与相关语言知识，培养学生的写作技能，笔者专门设计了该节写作课。该节课的整体设计思路以文秋芳教授（2014）的“输出驱动——输入促成假设”理论为依据，将教学分为三个环节：驱动—促成—评价。整节课以具有交际意义的写作任务为驱动，通过内容、结构和语言等方面的输入促成活动，循序渐进地引导学生完成写作任务。

2.教材分析

为了给学生提供充足的语言输入，本节课的教学材料有两部分。第一部分为人教版必修三第五单元的两篇阅读材料，主要用于获取加拿大的相关信息，这两篇文章学生已经学习。第二部分为一篇关于中国概况的辅助性阅读材料。通过阅读该文本，学生能够从中获取描写国家概况的文章结构，同时能够获得相关的语言表达。

3.学情分析

该节课的授课对象为高一学生，他们刚学习完有关加拿大的两篇课文，对加拿大已有所了解，但知识零散。另外，高一学生写作能力薄弱，对如何写一个国家的概况知之甚少。

二．教学目标

After the class, the students are able to:

list the necessary information of an overview of a country;

summarize some useful expressions of describing a country;

translate some sentences concerning Canada;

write an overview of Canada.

三．教学重难点

Help the students to write an overview of Canada.

四．教学步骤

Step 1 Lead-in (present the writing task)

The teacher presents the writing task: Suppose you are working for iExplore, an international online travel agency, and you are asked to write an overview of Canada for its Website.

And then the teacher asks the students the following question : What do you think should be included in Canada overview?

[设计意图] 该环节为“驱动”环节。以输出为驱动，依托较真实的、有交际意义的写作任务，不仅能够激发学生的已有知识、经验和兴趣，同时也会使学生注意到自己在完成该任务过程中可能遇到的困难，激发弥补知识盲点的欲望，进而产生学习内驱力。
