Students: Senior high school students, Grade 2

Student analysis:
These students are Grade Two students, who possess the basic writing skills and can write the simple sentences but often monotonous sentence patterns. That is to say, they can’t use the advanced sentence patterns and structures, especially the varied grammatical structures so they are always bothered by the question “What makes a good composition?”
