Teaching procedures:
Step1. Lead in and warm up
Introduce the topic directly and ask ss to correct sentences on the screen. Analyse why students made such mistakes
Step2. Explanation
Present five sentence structures to the students and ask ss what conclusion students can draw from them,thus making students know the importance of subjects and predicates in a sentence.
Step3. Observation
Ask ss to try to write three sentences, then observe them ,and get them to draw a conclusion about where the adverbial and attributive should be put in a sentence.
