Teaching procedures:
Pre-writing
Step1. Lead-in
According to the analysis of, Ss are weak in making the structure clear (结构清晰)and the content related(内容相关). That’s to say, they should improve the logic in writing.
Step2. Learn to make the writing more logic.
Activity1. Observe the wrong examples from the Ss’ writing passages.
1. Mistakes for giving reasons or purpose (因果/目的关系)
Eg1. Because dark inside, so the play is very thrilling.
Eg2. In the evening, we come to the restaurant and we have a big dinner at night. So, we were coming back by car.
Eg3. In my opinion the vacation in order to have a rest, but I need to study hard. On account of my midterm mark is not good.
2. Mistakes for adding more information(并列和递进关系)
(1)Some English music not only can let me feel relaxing but also can help me learn English.
(2)We have a picnic there. Except this, we also learn something about the history. Also, we buy some souvenir and take lots of photos.
3. Mistakes for transition(转折关系)
(1) I want to stop her, but it was too late. But it doesn’t usually work this way.
(2) What I can do for her now is so limited and so small, doesn’t matter.
(3) Although we had some regret, but also has a wonderful memory.
4. Mistakes for giving examples (列举关系)
(1) There are many programs about basketball. Such as the basketball park, the super weekend.
(2) There are many tourist attractions. For example: the Kunming Lake, Longevity Hill.
5. Mistakes of personal pronouns or agreement(人称代词和主谓一致)
Eg1. I hope that we can use their free time to exercise their own body.
