1. A composition written by LI jialin

A brilliant book can not only?broaden our horizon, but also it can?teach us a lesson,?which can significantly influence our life. As for me, it is “the wolves are coming” I read?when I was a child that leaves a lasting impression on me and teaches me to be an honest person.

The story takes place in a peaceful countryside. A young boy who is feeding his sheep on the mountain feels that it is too boring to work endlessly, thus he comes up with an idea to play a trick on others. Thus, he rushes into the countryside and yells, “ the wolves are coming!” All the people come in a hurry, only to find that they are cheated by the boy. The boy doesn’t give up this foolish behavior but instead takes delight in cheating others over and over again. When the wolves really come, no one believes him again and eventually a good many sheep were eaten.

In terms of me, if the boy had been honest and not always played jokes on others, his sheep would not have been eaten by the wolves. In our daily life, if we can be honest, we can avoid a great many troubles. So it is high time for us to learn a lesson from the story and form the virtue of honesty, or we would be like the boy in the story. 　李佳林
