The Teaching Plan of Reading-- Computers
I. Analysis of the teaching material. 教材分析
The topic of this unit is about computers. And the material presents the basic knowledge of the development of computers, the timeline and structure of it are very clear.
This class is the first period of this unit. During warming up, the teacher has introduced the basic knowledge of computers and dealt with the difficult new words. So in this period, teacher is going to help students get a better understanding of the passage and develop some reading skills,like prediction,scanning, careful reading and so on.
II. Analysis of the students 学生分析
The students of Senior 1 have some common knowledge of computers, among whom are great interested in science. However, they may not understand the reading passage well because of the difficult words and the long sentences .
Therefore, different reading tasks are designed to help them find out the structure of the passage, and to learn how to organize the topic sentence and supporting information logically. What’s more, in order to offer them more chances to apply what they have learned to practice,a group discussion will be given.
