Warming up, Pre-reading and Reading
Ⅱ:Teaching aims:
Knowledge aims: Enable students to know 4 sources of income and various jobs and relevant returns.
Ability aims: To train students’ skill of reading with key words; and enable them to talk simply on income with proper expressions.
Emotional aims: To cultivate students’ attitude towards how to earn an income through learning about income and its sources, and to help students build a right outlook on money.
Ⅲ:Key teaching points and difficult points:
1, How to input enough information about income, particularly the words.
2, How to cultivate students’ consciousness to respect work and earning an income through work.

Step one: Lead-in
Start with “pocket money”(2 minutes)
1.Show them pictures of various forms of pocket money. Teach them to read and remember the phrases.
2.Question: 1)Do you have your own income? And how about your parents’ money?
2) What is income?(3 minutes)
Step two: Pre-reading(8 minutes)
1.Match words with their meanings. And teach and read the useful new words and expressions.
2. Ask students how to get the structure of a text with subtitles, and introduce it.
Step three : While- reading (20minutes)
1.Read quickly and try to find out the structure.
2.Read part by part.
