Step 1: Lead-in:导入

T: Honourable judges, ladies, gentlemen and my dear students, good afternoon!

How’s your day? Look at the title to be showed in PPT(while writing the title on the blackboard ) and pictures, and guess what we are going to talk about today?

Ss: Maybe love or the movie Titanic.

T: Correct. As is well-known to all, love is the most powerful word in the world. Do you think so? At this very moment, the movie named Titanic crowds into my mind. The scene in which Rose saw Jack sinking in the sea and leaving her ever and forever touches my soul deeply and painfully but full of energy and hope. Have you ever watched the movie or still remembered it? Would you like to watch it? Well, ready to admire a movie?(Play the first clip of the movie:I’m flying,Jack.)

Purpose: Interest is the best teacher. To arouse the Ss’ interest in learning this lesson, watching a movie clip is the simple and useful way to get the students interested. On the other hand, watching is of great benefit to develop the students’ ability of language.

设计目的:兴趣使最好的老师。为了激起学生的对这堂课的学习兴趣,观看电影剪辑是简单而又实用的让他们感兴趣的方法。另外,观看电影对培养学生的语言技能有着重要的作用。

Step 2: Before listening听前

T: Is it beautiful? Are they in love with each other? However, there are ups and downs in life. Would you like to know more about the story?
