Step1 Lead-in
T:Today we are going to share our lesson with many teachers and students because it will be put online later. Are you nervous now? What are some other things that make you nervous?One might be taking a test. Another might be speaking in front of a large group of people. Today we will meet with a man who is nervous about everything in the story The Open Window by Saki. May be we are not familiar with the writer. Firstly, let us learn something about him.

1. Fast reading
1). Find out the main characters and their relationship.
A. Mr. Framton Nuttel--- a visitor to the country

C. Mrs. Stappleton--- the aunt
2). Put the events in the right order.
a. The girl pointed to a large French window and said Mrs. Sappleton’s husband and two brothers had drowned.
