Step I、Guessing game

Look at the pictures and say the present participle verbs and verb phrases

设计意图：通过游戏让学生在愉快的氛围中复习本单元现在进行时态的重点词和词组，充分调动学生的积极性

Step 2、Revise the important sentences in this unit

Show some pictures to the students and practice the sentences in this unit

①T：What’s she doing ?

S：She is cleaning .

T： Are they talking on the phone?

S：Yes , they are .

S2：He is reading a newspaper.

设计意图：通过师生、生生对话操练本单元重点句型

Step3、Let the students look at the pictures and make up new dialogues

①Lead them to talk about the pictures

②Let them make up new dialogues in their groups

③ Show in class

设计意图：通过自由对话、小组内对话的练习让学生能够的对单词和句型进行掌握。同时，及时的表扬也提高了学生对学英语的兴趣，让他们能够更喜欢开口说英语。

Step4、Listening

①Show the questions to the students before listening, then Listen and match the names with the activities.

② Let the students say what the Kings family are doing

设计意图：让学生先了解听音选择的任务，再进行听音训练，其目的是让学生能够带着任务去倾听，这样能达到更有效的听音训练，同时也为下一步的写作做好铺垫。
