Teaching procedure
Step I Lead-in
Ask the Ss to enjoy a piece of work from Datong dialect “Shulaibao” and ask them to guess.Then ask the Ss to think about why we speak different Chinese but we can understand each other.[引导学生思考:为什么说不同英语的人可以理解对方并无障碍交流呢?激活学生思维]
Step II Warming up
1.Ask the Ss to act out the dialogue between Beckham and Obama and know differences between BrE and AmE.
