3、The analysis of teaching object
Because of the poor conditions in the poor area, most students ’listening ability is not so good. They are not clear about the requirements of listening. Some of them can’t master the ways of concluding the main idea of listening material, and they don’t know how to grasp the detail quickly from a listening text. Besides, it’s difficult for them to infer or judge from the known information. So they can’t finish the exercise well because of their poor skills.
II、Three dimensional teaching aims
1.Knowledge and skills:
(1)Review the requirements of listening and get the students to share their tips about how to deal with the exercises effectively.
(2)Get the students to be able to do some listening exercises by catching some topic sentences and key words.
(3)Practice to improve the students’ skills and ability of listening comprehension.
(4)Through the listening materials the students will have a better understanding of the listening test.
2.Process and methods:
(1) To improve the students’ self-study ability by conducting them the ways of how to get the main idea and detail of listening material.
(2) Using methods of discussion, practice, induction and etc.
3.Emotion attitude and value sense:
(1) Let the students experience the spirit of group work and help each other by teacher-student activities and student-student activities.
(2) Let students experience the sense of success by the teacher’s encouragement.
(3) Let students know themselves better and correctly by asking students different levels of questions.
