Step 1. Warming-up
Task 1. Listen to the dialogue carefully and fill in the blanks.
Rose: Hello, Jack. I _____ _____ _____! They said you might be up here.
Jack: Give me your hand. Now _____ your eyes. Go on. Now step up. Now hold on the railing. Keep your eyes closed. Don’t peek.
Rose: I’m not.
Jack: Step up onto the rail. Hold on. Hold on. Keep your eyes closed. Do you _____ me?
Rose: I trust you.
Jack: All right. ______your eyes.
Rose: I’m _______, Jack.
Task 2. Role play: two pair of Ss will be asked to play the role of Jack and Rose and read the conversation out.
Step 2. Listen to a dialogue to catch the key information, answer the questions and role play.（听对话回答问题并角色扮演。）
Tips: 听对话时要简单记录主要信息以便后面回答问题，主要信息经常包括对话中提到的人物(who)，事情(what)，时间(when)，地点(where)，原因(why)以及方式(how).
