Analysis of Teaching Material
The teaching content of this lesson extracts from New Senior English For China Students’ Book 3 (People Education Press), Unit 5 Using Language:“ The True North” From Toronto to Montreal. It introduces two beautiful cities of Canada to us according to Li Daiyu and Liu Qian’s travel route. After reading, we can know more about some famous places, local customs as well as traditions of Canada.
During the reading process, the most difficult part for students is that there are too many places and time lines in the text, so it is necessary to analyze the passage by drawing Ming Mapping.
