Teaching method:归纳法和演绎法相结合

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in (导入)

Show a picture of going through a maze then ask students if they have ever gone through a maze and what kind of test items the picture remind them of.

借助生活中经常遇到的场景来导入,激发学生兴趣,自然过渡到短文改错的复习,因为学生常感觉做短文改错像走迷宫,找不到“出路”。

Show a chart about proof reading.

通过这张表格让学生基本了解改错与词类之间的联系。

Step 2 Show another picture about Confucius(温故而知新)

通过有趣的图片让学生知道这节课将要使用的是归纳法

Step 3 Show some exercises they have finished before and analyze the types of the mistakes

按照词类分别归纳常见错误类型。因为展现的题目都取自学生之前考过的纸卷中,学生还有一些印象,这样既可以降低学生做题的难度,也可以加快课堂的进度。例如通过归纳名词常见错误类型如下:

She also thinks it is bad for my eye.

2. She didn't try to speak or ask question.

3. We often get useful informations from the Internet.

其它词类错误依次类推即可。

Step 4 Summarize the types of the mistakes and the methods they have used when finishing all the exercises.

Another useful method they often use when correcting mistakes.

通过并列连词来找到错误是非常简单而好用的一个解题技巧,单独出题目并总结是有必要的。

Step 5: Summarize how to do proof reading.

Step 6: Practice by finishing the following exercises.

Passage one: One Sunday I tried a new lifestyle. I gave up the Internet, but even didn't watch TV. I thought I would feel very boring. However, I had very effective day. I wrote two article that morning. In the past, I always want to write one, but I didn't save time. While I was separated from the Internet and TV, I could devote me to writing. I once read an article, what said that every morning the writer spent two hours wrote without the net. At that time I thought up she was too strict. After I tried the method myself, I found it real worthwhile.

Passage two: Nowadays, it's a fashion for student to have iPads. Used an iPad, we can download a lot of learning materials and read it. Obviously, it's helpful to our studies, especial to English learning. Besides,Some students bring their iPads to the classroom listening to music, which make others annoyed. For my opinion, the classroom is a place where concentration was needed, Therefore, we should make a good use of iPads to study. Meanwhile, schools should make some rules instruct the students to use them properly.

Reflection: 因为设计思路新颖,练习难度设置的也合理,所以尽管是在普通班上课,也完全能够调动同学们的兴趣,学生反馈非常好,感觉是对学生帮助很大的一堂课。
