Step Ⅰ Warm-up
Greetings.
Lead in.
①Play the song Rhythm of the Rain to lead into the new class.
②Ask the students to find out what the weather like in this song.
③Ask the students what other words about the weather they know.
Step Ⅱ Learn the new words
Lead out the center word weather, and around it to have a simple drawing about the new words:sunny,rainy,windy,snowy,cloudy.
Lead them to read the words,then ask one or two students to read them and correct the pronunciation if there is any.
Learn the new words about nouns and adjectives on the screen.
3.Learn some weather signs.
4. Find the rules about how to change nouns to adjectives.
n.+y→adj. cloud→cloudy, rain→rainy...
5.Have a game “QUICK EYES” to remember the words.
