Step 3 Careful reading
1. The Ss read the passage within 4 minutes to find the formation of the United Kingdom from the historical perspective.
2. Teaching new sentence structure.
“find＋宾语＋宾补”结构
a. I find him the man who broke the window.
b. Li Ming finds himself wet.
c. Tom found the girl walking alone.
Step 4 Consolidation
Consolidate what have been learned by further analyzing the passage and translating the difficult sentences.
Step5. Homework
Preview the next part and write a short summary of the passage learnt.
